ARTISTS

We are delighted to have the pleasure of working with so many talented artists and illustrators on the artwork for each of our collections.
Alma Kitchen Fleur Collection x Lauren Taylor Creates
Lauren Taylor is an American artist and illustrator based in Ireland. She has turned her artistic passion into her company, Lauren Taylor Creates. Lauren creates original works of art in both watercolor and oil and sells both her paintings and prints. She also collaborates with various brands, authors and commercial clients on illustration projects. She finds inspiration in both her travels and home in Ireland and loves to paint flora, landscapes and people.
Alma Kitchen x Ashley D Studio
Ashley identified her passion at an early age and has been drawing and creating her entire life. After graduating from The Rhode Island School of Design with a concentration in Graphic Design, Ashley spent several years at Lilly Pulitzer as a Surface Designer, honing her craft in painting and print making. Her work converges between watercolor fluidity and applied design structure. After seven years in the fashion industry, Ashley started her newfound studio which marries her passion for painting, typography, and textiles to create custom pieces for celebratory occasions.
Alma Kitchen Fête Collection x Lydia Marie Elizabeth
Lydia has always been a drawer and a painter. While working as an Interior Designer in Greenwich, Connecticut, she found time to illustrate the scenes which most inspired her during the day. She decided to focus on building her own brand in 2015. Since then she has painted and illustrated for private clients, businesses, and organizations alike. She now works from her home studio in Savannah with her husband and their cuban kitty cat.
Alma Kitchen Noël Collection x WhoDrewNYC
Peggy McGrath Tarpley is originally from Cincinnati. She moved to New York City after college for a fashion design career with American Eagle Outfitters. She spent eight valuable years with American Eagle designing women's apparel.
In 2016, she started illustrating calendars and showcasing her evening and weekend watercolors on her Instagram account (whodrewnyc). It has opened the doors to countless opportunities ranging from wedding invitation design to wallpaper design, to custom marketing collaborations, and bridal illustrations. In August 2019, Peggy committed to Whodrew full time and is growing her illustration business in her New York City studio. She is inspired by vintage textiles, fashion, interiors, and finding beauty and the little things each day.

Alma Kitchen Belle Collection x Jane Black Design

With a background in textile design from the University of Georgia, Jane worked in-house illustrating at Kate Spade New York and Rifle Paper Company before venturing off to pursue her own illustration business. As a child, she was drawn to the artful sketches featured in Domino and Kate Spade’s Style book, and began using a watercolor set around the same time to express her interest in fashion. Now freelancing between New York and Paris, Jane continues to use her brushes highlighting the charm in the everyday.
